The camp takes place in Levi, a fell in the heart of Finnish Lapland and home to Finland’s most popular ski resort. We chose this place because it provides the perfect balance between untouched nature and vibrant activity. Just a 30-minute drive from Levi’s lively center - filled with restaurants, shops and après-ski bars - you can find places so tranquil and pristine that they almost feel unreal.

A 7-night camp offers a full Lapland experience for travelers wanting to properly immense in Lapland, while skiing at two ski resorts one hour apart from each other. On two afternoons, after a long day on the slopes, we set off on a magical adventure to explore Lapland’s wonders. In addition to northern lights hunting and Nordic spa visit, we also set off on a day trip to Lapland’s capital, Rovaniemi, where we explore Arktikum Science Museum and visit Santa Claus Village.

We also organize 4-night camps with three days of skiing and same activities mentioned above, apart from the day trip to Rovaniemi. Additionally, quests of both the 4- and 7-night camps have the opportunity to join husky, reindeer or snowmobile safaris, as well as enjoy snowshoeing and ice swimming when the schedule and conditions allow.

You will stay in a cozy 160 m2 cottage located in a peaceful area, just a 5-minute drive from Levi’s southeast slopes. The cottage features 5 bedrooms: 3 shared rooms with two separate single beds each, 1 private room with a double bed, and 1 staff room. There are three restrooms, three showers, and, of course, a traditional Finnish sauna. A fireplace in the parlour adds warmth and atmosphere, while a large TV is perfect for a movie night. The cottage is fully equipped with all modern amenities guaranteeing a comfortable stay. You are also welcome to use the kitchen and laundry facilities when available.

Our camps include full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner. On the day of arrival we usually serve only dinner, and on the day of departure only breakfast. Most of the meals are prepared at the cottage but on some occasions we visit local restaurants and even enjoy lunch in a goahti on the slopes. We want you to experience Nordic and Laplandic cuisine so we try to serve as many local dishes as possible - from rice porridge and salmon soup to reindeer meat and more. We cater different dietary requirements. You can find more camp specific information about accommodation on the booking page.

skiing

Skiing is in the core of Arctic Ski Camp so ski passes are always included. In the 4-night camp we have 3 ski days in Finland's most visited resort Levi. In the 7-night camp we also visit Ylläs, Finland's biggest resort. Both ski resorts are known for unique winter wonderland scenery and offer a versatile mix of terrain and pistes, making them exciting for experienced skiers yet comfortable for beginners to learn on.

Beginners can choose to participate in ski or snowboard lessons. And for total novices we usually recommend a three-day course that fits perfectly into the schedule. We have two ski sessions a day separated by lunch. Skiing can be tiring and conditions may vary so you can decide yourself how long you want to ski, no pressure :) You can find more camp specific information about skiing on the booking page.
